• Before joining EPA Capital, Mr. Tri co-founded Vietnam Growth Fund I (VGFI), an investment management firm focused on overseeing the portfolios of its co-founders in Vietnam. VGFI completed several high-profile transactions, including a convertible loan to Nha Khoa Kim and equity investments in 1Office, WeCare247, Ecotruck, and SCommerce.
• From 2017 to 2022, before taking on leadership responsibilities at VGFI, Mr. Tri served as Deputy General Director at KiotViet Technology (formerly Citigo Software). During his tenure, he led the company’s financial operations, and successfully managed two key fundraising rounds: the Series A round in 2019, raising $6 million from Jungle Ventures and Traveloka, and the Series B round in 2021, securing $45 million from KKR and other prominent investors.
• Under Mr. Tri’s leadership, KiotViet experienced remarkable growth, expanding its customer base from 8,000 to over 200,000 paying businesses by the time of the Series B investment.

Bao stands out as a seasoned professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in the dynamic fields of investment, asset management, business development, and M&A advisory in Vietnam.

• Bao began his career as a financial analyst and then was promoted to Head of Corporate Finance Advisory at VNDirect, a top securities firm in Vietnam
• Ater that, Bao honed his investment acumen as an Investment Manager at Red River Holdings, managing a USD 200 million AUM fund, covering diversified sectors such as agriculture, construction materials, consumer goods, telecommunications, and media
• Bao then found HB Communication, JSC, a successful digital content provider for major Vietnamese telecommunications companies and global partners in the industry. His pioneering approach in SMS-based marketing campaigns established the company’s reputation within the industry.
• He, along with associates, successfully arranged a strategic acquisition, advising domestic investors in acquiring a controlling 51% stake in VMG Media Corporation (UPCOM: ABC).
• He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Pacific Bridge Fund Management, JSC.

• Bao graduated with a bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Florida Gulf Coast University, USA.
