- Tuan began his career in Vietnam as a Deal Leader at Mekong Capital, a leading private equity firm. He played a pivotal role in sourcing and executing some of the fund’s most successful investments across the healthcare, real estate, and technology sectors.
- Tuan then transitioned to become the CEO of DNP Water, a major private investor in Vietnam’s water supply sector. Under his leadership, DNP Water embarked on a significant expansion program, successfully acquiring and integrating 16 new clean water production and distribution companies across various Vietnamese provinces. This strategic growth initiative, fueled by a series of M&A transactions and capital raising from prominent international investors like IFC and Olympus Capital, solidified DNP Water’s position as a leader in the industry, with the highest designated capacity for clean water production among private players.
- Following his success at DNP Water, Tuan assumed the role of Vice Chairman at Savico, Vietnam’s leading automotive retailer and distributor with the largest market share.
Education
- Tuan graduated summa cum laude from Bucknell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
- Tuan also holds an MBA from the Shidler School of Business at the University of Hawaii.
